Twice while visiting my son in Cumming, GA, I needed car repairs while there. My son raves about the excellent service he always receives from the Herbert Automotive Center he uses to maintain his vehicle. I trust his word and found his experience to be the same as what I had while having the HA Service Staff repair my car. It happened to be Holiday time both times I was there. They worked me in and fixed my car beyond my expectations. I wish I lived closer, I’d use HA Service Center always for maintenance and repairs. I know I can trust when they complete a job on car, it’s done right. Outstanding staff, and excellent repair with highly courteous staff. Very grateful to have been a patron.

Very convenient location and a huge time saver compared to dealership service. Even when dealership maintenance is scheduled, this place is easily twice as fast. I've walked in for things like spark plugs replacement or an oil change and been done within an hour. They prioritize working on cars rather than staffing the front desk - it can sometimes take longer to get someone's attention to talk or ask questions, since everyone is busy working on cars. Overall, this place is efficient, practical, and great if you value speed and solid work over hand-holding

They give me complete honest descriptions of what needs to be done. He described to me exactly what had to be done with the internal axle and the CV boot and packing up the grease . Then they call me with accurate estimates and the repairs are done efficiently and on time. Scott is very good manager, and I love dealing with him.

I’m extremely disappointed with the pre-purchase inspection I received here. When I booked the appointment, I was told they would perform a general visual inspection, check fluids and and check underneath of the car for rust. Based on that, I reasonably expected the vehicle to be put on a lift as well. Instead, the inspection lasted about 30 minutes and the car was never lifted, only a quick look underneath with a flashlight. At checkout, the person at the register could not explain the findings. He simply said “everything looks good” and mentioned the tires “could be better.” When I specifically asked about brake life and tire life, he didn’t know and shrugged, saying the technician “didn’t mention anything.” That’s not acceptable for a pre-purchase inspection. Not many repair shops I would send my wife or friends too. However I’ve seen myself and heard reports of how Scott fairly treated the repairs for those who are not “wrench handlers” without the exaggeration of issues and unnecessary repair sales job I have experienced myself in two of Cumming’s dealership. My wife was surprised at the fast service she received also. Good job. I do wish you still offered Mobile 1 oil products.
