Hertz Car Rental - Augusta - Augusta State Airport (Maine) (Aug)

This car rental place really rocks! I highly recommend them. They made everything so easy when dealing with a difficult time. I had 2 extra days for my rental added on, as my car was not ready on the estimated time I was given. They had no issues with me extending my contract with them. Very reasonable and personable people to work with. They patiently answered all my questions, and we're only a phone call away. I called them several times with different questions and they were always kind. I've even recommended them to a friend of mine who's getting work done on their car and will have it in the shop for several days. I would also use them again for myself.

Place is a joke. If you use a debit card they want to run your credit score!!!. And want a 745 score hold 500 bucks plus the cost of the rental!!! So pretty much you have to be rich with a credit card max ok 10k and you better have a great credit score. Evil evil company. Taking advantage of people like that

My truck broke down and I need to have a vehicle. So i used my AAA discount, looked around. Hertz was the most accommodating and best rate for me. I rented a small compact 4 door for 5 days at first. Then with the app, i was able to extend my rental. I ended up extending it two more times without a hitch. A very nice Buick Encore. Clean, comfortable, extremely roomy! Bluetooth, Apple Carplay, Android Carplay, Cruise Control, integrated steering wheel options. The selection was vast. Many cars and SUV’s to choose from. The charges are done daily up until 5 days, then its a week. The rate is amazing. The extras are cheap but WELL WORTH the fee. Insurance. Gas tank pre paid or not, etc. i am lucky to have been able to use this car rental business. Thank you Hertz!!

On vacation to Maine last week my flight was delayed and Enterprise canceled my reservation and did not have another car available. I walked over to the Hertz counter and they took care of me on the spot. Great friendly service and gave me the best rate they could without a reservation. Saved my vacation! Thanks!
