Hertz Car Rental - Carmel - South Guilford Road

Had a scheduled reservation for Saturday at 12 p.m. and upon arrival find i sign on the door showing closed. Called Hertz and spoke to a representative and after about 35 min they found a transit van for me at the International Airport. I went to the airport and was told they didn't have what I need nor do they every have 12 passenger transit vans because they won't fit in the parking garage. Worst experience ever. I am not scrambling to find a van that will accommodate my family in less than 24hrs before we were set to leave on vacation. I scheduled this pick up in Carmel over 2 months ago. I even recieved confirmation and reminder emails for the appointment. Horrible business.

Exact same experience with same person as mentioned by Alaina Collins. Made reservation several months ago. Arrived to location, and told by young woman at desk that she didn't have a reservation in our name. Provided the confirmation number and she then located it. Due to flight, we arrived 11/2 hours after reservation time. Told by Hertz on phone 2 days previously, that as we had prepaid for the car, they would hold it up to 24 hours, so no need to worry if delayed. Were given contract showing EV had 100% charge. Car was eventually brought out, Keys handed to us and told we needed to move car car as blocking traffic in parkinglot, and she moved on to customers who arrived after us. Went out to car and found out it had only a 17% charge, not 100% as stated on contract. When in to tell

Went here because my insurance covers it. We set up an appointment for a car to be used for a week. The payme t was supposed to be $200 now and $600 later. They were trying to make me pay over $800 upfront. The website does not mention that. It does not mention big fees up front.

I would give them zero stars if I could. They downgraded the vehicle I reserved, no price changes, the vehicle has a significant oil leak that messed up the garage floor (there is a puddle on the floor), I was told to go to this place to get an exchange and they will be open till 6pm. I went there at 5:30 and it says on their door that they close at 5pm. I am on the phone for 15 minutes (and it still counts) to get the roadside assistance, no human at all. I am strongly dissatisfied.

Rented a faulty car2x was told I would be ref. was +$3,000 old manager stole my stuff! EV's beware.I rented a Tesla last Nov.was turned away from airport. Was n car 4 12h's tow never arrived.This location stole all n car +$1100 rental fees that was told would be refunded! I knew the car was definitely defective and they told me twice to take it to the airport and they said they would not replace it from a different location! Even though they knew the location was closed for staff is! I’m in the president’s circle! This car was the worst! Another rental was definitely defective(Volvo requires internal internet but didn't work!) thousands gone! **The new manager is awesome and I have hope they will fix this issue!
