Hertz Car Rental - Cedar Falls - University Avenue

Unfortunately for my family, we received a van soaked in urine. The driver seat was saturated in a disgusting smell- it was even under the center consult protection mat 🤢 We didn’t even know it was never properly cleaned. We used the van four days, tried for a discount for returning early and even provided the details of our issues. As the customer you expect the company to provide solutions- not ask you FOR advice on what we wanted to achieve. We don’t have to pay the cleaning fee but ended up being charged full price. It was ridiculous to say the least!

The person that I worked with was rude, and just acted like he was annoyed that I was even there. He wouldnt smile and acted like he was better then me

Rude and confrontational employee. Honestly it was very weird. I went across town and rented at the Budget instead because I expect to be treated politely.

Get this local office some staffing help! I rent cars frequently, booked through my company booking agent, and am usually very pleased. However, when needing to modify or urgently amend reservations by calling the local office, I am put on hold very for extended times. I am literally writing this review as I am on hold, totaling in excess of 40minutes waiting this morning! When I can get to the staff, they are great and do a wonderful job in supporting my business, they just need some more help.
