Hertz Car Rental - Davenport - North Brady Street

Immediately when I got in the vehicle, I noticed hair on the seats and dirt. Less than 20 minutes of having the vehicle, my daughter found a Halloween flyer in the glove compartment. This is the second time renting from Brady Street location where something was left in the vehicle. The first time was a pair of sandals in the trunk. I would have returned or requested a different vehicle, but there was An appointment that I needed to get to. I don’t know if the person I dealt with just has a certain personality, but it definitely was not inviting. I wore my coat the whole ride because I didn’t feel comfortable without it. I will not be renting from this location again.

I have attempted to rent from this location twice. First time waited all day for the vehicle to be ready after being told multiple different times it would be ready but never was staff was also very rude. Decided to give them a second chance only to go in to pick up the car and being told they don’t have one even though the lot was full of cars and I’d have to wait until the next afternoon for a car. Once again staff was very rude and told me I could go to the airport location but refused to see if they actually had a car. Will never rent from any hertz again!

Don’t let the manager cliff lie to you & tell you it’s only a $2 late fee to return past your time frame, it’s not true and you will be charged a FULL day even if you selected to drop off at a later time that will not matter. Unprofessional, a liar and over priced & overcharged. This place is not worth it.

Booked a rental online. Got to the site and they told me that they had no cars available although I had a confirmation number. “Confirmation number just means that you have a reservation, not a car.” Agent couldn’t give me any paperwork showing a cancellation because “there isn’t anything to give”. Bad vibe, guy didn’t seem to care. Will not go back.

The car that I rented was in a bad condition. Multiple dents, breaks and pretty filthy with oil smudges all over. Also, the car was marked as full gas even though it was compltely empty. I would not rent from this location or hertz if I had the option. On the other hand, the service was friendly and fast (manager not very helpful though)
