Hertz Car Rental - Manchester - Broad Street

This is the absolute worst location. They are very rude and unprofessional. I was hung up on , on numerous occasions, when I asked for the district managers information the Guy Rob ( I believe that’s his name) refused to give it to me and told me to go through the customer service line to get a manager. They have all of my things in the car including my license, credit cards, wallet, cash, cellphone, travel bag, and other miscellaneous things. They are refusing to give me any information. And to think I went through Lyft. When I called Lyft they have no knowledge of what’s going on. I tried to get clarification and I’m being refused that. I am asking to speak with management, I’m getting refused that. I am trying to determine why am I being charge for a car not in my possession. I am stres

Zero stars!! Avoid this place at all costs!!! The SUV we were given was so dirty and smelled so bad!! And they are not willing to do anything about it. Exterior of car was not washed, interior was absolutely stained everywhere, and barely a half tank of gas. It smelled like wet dog and cigarettes!!! Had to drive with the windows down so I wouldn’t vomit! It’s like they’re just passing on the keys to one customer to the next with no care or concern what condition the car is in. Jobs are not being done by these lazy workers. Horrible beyond belief! Stay far away from this place is my opinion!!!

Steve and Chelsea are very friendly and give exceptional service. I travel a lot and frequently rent from this location. The car is always ready, warmed up and clean. And they’re just as prompt when I’m returning the vehicle and checking me out.

GO TO ENTERPRISE INSTEAD!!! The Customer service here was so bad. I called to ask about the available vehicles and the man kept cutting me off and telling me I can just go to the website. I told him that the website says they have economy cars but over the phone he said all they had available were SUV's and mid size. I asked him how can I go online and find the rate if online doesnt reflect their actual inventory? I had told him multiple times I did not see an option for a midsize car on the website but he continued to cut me off when I spoke and was very sarcastic. Even something as simple as me asking "should I use the midsize SUV option so I can get the rate?" (because he REFUSED to give me one on the phone) he said "Ummm I mean I dont know do you want a midsize SUV????" I said No I jus

Sounds like a scam to me because I was expecting to have a full tank of gas to do a full 9 hour shift of Lyft however when getting the car I couldn’t even do 60 miles without having to put gas in. Seems like they get you on the back end with your deposit for not bringing back the car with a full tank of gas when they didn’t even give the car with a full tank of car. Which means they are saving themselves money by not replacing the gas from the last customer. Staff manager is unprofessional, disrespectful, sarcastic, and completely unhelpful.
