Hertz Car Rental - Nanuet - West Route 59

I had enough of the below average service. I have now used hertz 6 times in 2 months and every time has disappointed me. I only go back as it’s convenient for where I am but this is the last time. My car wasn’t ready, waiting 35 min for a filthy car to be delivered and told oh it needed windshield fluid…I am setting off ok a 397 mile drive and delayed with a car that I don’t want to touch the gear shift as finger nails were in the grooves! Liquid in the cup holder. The exterior completely filthy too. Music is blasting when I step inside and I stop the team member and ask how this is ok and it’s gross - she says all I can do is have it cleaned (again). I am out of time and patience and say that won’t work. She says I will note on my rental. Few hours into the drive ‘check oil’ alert comes

Great experience with Hertz Deven was awesome! Super helpful, friendly, and made the process smooth and easy. Appreciate the excellent service!

When I rented the car, I requested to extend the rental for another day. However, when I returned the car, they claimed I hadn’t made that request and that I had only reserved it for two days. As a result, I was charged more for the second day, including an extra payment fee, which I wish I could have avoided. Despite this issue, I liked their service.

Edit -- Dropped my rental off today and Devon was there to assist in the return. I've never been in and out of a place so fast! If I ever need another rental, this is THE first place I will call. Thank you Devon for a flawless experience!! Devon went above and beyond to ensure I had a car. This young man is an exceptional employee. I hope Hertz realizes what a superstar they have!!!

While picking up my rental car from Hertz Fitchburg, MA on Monday, Hertz’s system went down, and I was given a manual rental agreement. Despite being promised an official agreement via email, I didn’t receive it until returning the car at Hertz Nanuet on Thursday. I called customer service on my return date, only to learn my rental record had never been created. After multiple explanations and no support from customer service, I went to the Hertz Nanuet office, where Mr. DEVAN JOHNBAPTISTE created the rental agreement and resolved the issue, allowing me to return the car smoothly.
