Hilltop Camper and RV

Customer service isn’t dead. There’s something to be said about companies that take your money then leave you high and dry but not Hilltop. I had a minor inconvenience and they went above and beyond to help and resolve my concerns. I can’t say that for 90% of the companies I’ve given my money to. Can you? As someone with a million and one reasons to complain about everything, hilltop gets a compliment and my recommendation.

Friendly, helpful people. I had a few questions about my RV repair ( I was doing it myself ). If they didn't know the answer, they were honest with me, which is also helpful as I know to ask elsewhere. They were knowledgeable about all my repair questions except 1, but that was more my fault. I didn't think to look for a model #.

I was looking at park models with my daughter and son in law at Hilltop. Salesman Lucas Trumpold came into one we were interested in. I questioned the height of the sliding door because my son in law had to duck his head entering. I brought it up multiple times before my daughter said you obviously don't care. He responded "no I don't". We then started talking about delivery and setup, he said they charge $2400 for that. I mentioned others do it free, his response was others do not. It was a lie, I have been shopping for a new park model and know better. Short story long I was not impressed with his sales tactics and didn't appreciate being treated like a "dumb woman". Shame on you Lucas and shame on Hilltop for allowing your sales people to behave in this manner.

The purchase experience at Hill Top in Brainerd was a pleasure. Their service of my previous camper was excellent.... so, I traded for a park model. Excellent customer oriented staff at Hill Top. Not so much from Pleasureland in St. Cloud, they get a Zero rating.
