Honest-1 Auto Care

Do not do business here. My father and I had am issue with a Ford conversion van. The issue was it would not start at all. The issues were caused by a 4 inch ground cable. This cable was attached to the frame and engine of the car by a bolt which was frayed. They charged us over 600 dollars for this. Should it have been this much? Probably not. They lost our business, and I am not the only ones who have been back stabbed by Honest-1 before. Horrible.. this was a few years ago now, but looks like my review was taken down and I just want people to understand this is the business you will get. Even if this was done today with shops costs and labor being what they are now. I can maybe see 200, but 600? Crazy.

I had a great experience at Honest-1. I brought my car in because it’s newer to me and started feeling a little off after getting stuck in the snow. I wanted peace of mind and to make sure nothing serious was going on. They took the time to thoroughly check everything, explained how the dual-clutch transmission learning works, and answered my questions without making me feel rushed or talked down to. I really appreciated their honesty and the fact that they didn’t try to sell me repairs I didn’t need. I left feeling reassured and more confident about my car, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I’d definitely recommend Honest-1 to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional shop. They even threw in a coupon they had laying around!!!!!

Appointment was on time and fast! Great customer service, very personable staff, made waiting easy. Gave suggestions and rough estimate of up coming work, and time frame of when it should be done. Thank you for a great experience.

I went in to get a quote for an oil change. After receiving the verbal quote of about $95, I made an appointment for a couple of days later. I returned for my appointment and the guy said he'd have my price in a couple of minutes. He then told me it was going to be about $115. When I said I was quoted around $95, he said that it was about $115 because of tax, oil disposal, and shop supplies. When I said I wouldn't be returning in the future, he offered me a web site coupon for 15% off which brought it back down to the original quote. I'm an older guy and I so miss the old days when an auto service company would honor their word. It is sad for me to realize that this is now common practice and this younger generation apparently will never see times when words were honored and you didn't ha
