Honest-1 Auto Care Spring Hill

I have had good experiences with Honest-1. The staff are professional and I trust them. It’s hard to know know who to trust in the auto repair industry. Honest-1 always gives me an assessment of my car and prioritizes the repairs that are in need or potentially need in the future. They always answer any questions I have in a curteous manner. The bag of chocholate chip cookies they leave in my car thanking me for the business is a very nice touch…much appreciated!

I am absolutely furious over how Honest-1 treated my elderly parents. Just weeks before this, their car was in this shop for a full checkup. Suddenly, when a warning light came on, Honest-1 claimed the transmission was failing and quoted them OVER $8,000 for a manufactured or new transmission — using fear, urgency, and worst-case language to push the repair. That alone is alarming. What’s worse? We took the car to Honda for a second opinion, and Honda’s master technician thoroughly inspected EVERYTHING. The verdict: ➡️ The transmission is NOT failing ➡️ No rebuild. No replacement. No catastrophic damage. The real issue was a stuck A-line pressure solenoid valve, a relatively minor repair. I was traveling across the country and was advised to get the coolant changed in my car. This was the third place I called. Kellem assisted me, reviewed the cost up front with me, and provided great quality service. I’ve gone to so called trustworthy places in the past and have been ripped off so I was a bit skeptical, but even just walking into this place you feel a sense of peace. I do believe this shop is full of people with integrity and they are honest and upfront about costs. I would highly recommend this place.

Honestly, I am tired of working with every mechanic here in Middle Tennessee. There’s always been a problem or call back for a correction on their repairs. We had an awful experience with honest auto. It was just in there less than a month ago for a maintenance check. I make sure I keep up with all my maintenance checks and repairs diligently. And everything was fine and then we had our light go on the dashboard that said there was a problem with the transmission. So we brought it back to them. Long story short, they gave two options and said the first option would eventually lead to replacing the whole transmission in three months anyways!! So they recommended just getting a manufactured transmission from California, which would cost over $9000. Upon calling my dealer and bringing the
