Horne Automotive

Highly recommend this repair shop. My wife and I were traveling to Florida from NJ and stopped in Smithfield, NC for the night to break up the drive. Unfortunately, our car battery light came on just as we pulled into the hotel parking lot. Had it tested the next day, and both the battery and the alternator were bad. Not surprising, as our car has high mileage on it. We had it repaired at Horne Automotive, and they were excellent. They had it fixed the next day, charged a reasonable fee, and were very friendly and considerate to us. We were back on our way, and the car is running great. My thanks to them for helping out-of-town visitors who were stranded.

I usually do not give reviews but these guys have been amazing. I have been here a few times in the past and they have done great work on my vehicles. They are very honest and experienced. Did I mention they also have great customer service? This is the ONLY shop I would use and highly recommend in this area!

Wrote a review earlier this year, but my browser froze and it never posted. Recently had my car repaired here again for different issues. Same as the first time, they quickly diagnosed the problem and got back to me. The work was quickly completed and I was also informed of potential other issues with my car. All around great service!

I'm very happy to come across Horne Automotive and support small automotive repair shops! Brian is a pleasure to work with and the team here does an excellent job. On top they have very reasonable pricing for any major repairs. Highly recommend this shop if your within the vicinity. Overall, they did a great job on my 2003 Tacoma completing a timing belt kit replacement, water pump, cam and crank seals, and lower ball joints.

Horne Automotive is a great Family business. They are understanding, patient with you and very knowledgeable . I drive a Mercedes and they do every service on my vehicle also they will pick up my truck from my job and drop off. I couldn’t ask for a better auto shop. ❤️
