Ignite at Palmetto Park

We love that my mother in love lives here. She loves BINGO and plays 3 times a week. The staff is thoughtful and kind to the residents. They are friendly and helpful to us as well. We have lunch with her a few times a month and have come in at the end of their lunch time but they are still helpful and friendly.

My grandmother has been living here the past few weeks and asked me to write a review and share her wonderful experience. The residence and staff are wonderful and so welcoming. The food is some of the best you will find in a retirement complex (especially breakfast). She enjoys all the spaces from the coffee shop to the art room. The outdoor area and raised garden are beautiful.

My mom made Palmetto Park her home in 2015. She has been very happy there. The staff is wonderful. They care about every aspect of the residents’ lives from fun social activities to bringing the Amazon box to the apartment door. During this difficult COVID year, they have made effort support the safety of the folks in their care. A plus... some great property renovations. It looks and feels very inviting!! Vicky Parker

Johanna truly is a treasure for Palmetto Park! Organizing a series of senior-related speakers is such a valuable initiative, especially for the well-being and knowledge of our aging parents. She is providing good information, that can make a significant difference in their lives, helping us, help them navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with aging. It's heartening to see someone like her taking the lead in creating such a supportive and informative community environment. I plan to tour before the next event… Not only will it add an extra layer of information but also sets the stage for a holistic learning experience. I don't know what happened, but the food has gotten SO BAD that I am now spending a small fortune to have food delivered to my parents... even though meals are included in rent. What they are serving is gross and industrial... like prison food. Things have changed and I'm not sure why. Seems like profit has become more important than the mission of providing for seniors. My parents have been happy living here and I'm sad we now have to look for other options. Seniors need proper nutrition but they aren't getting it.
