I rarely write reviews, but Imperial Hand Car Wash & Detail Center absolutely deserves the recognition. This place sets a completely different standard when it comes to how a vehicle should be treated. From the moment I arrived, I could tell the team took pride in their work. There was no rushing, no careless handling—just professionalism and attention to detail from start to finish. I brought in my Polestar 4, which is very important to me, and I’m extremely selective about who works on it. The staff treated my car with a level of care and respect that immediately stood out. Don’t know why this place is called hand car wash. Obviously it’s not. Been going here for 3 years. In the last few months the workers and one of the owners are extremely careless. They wipe the car with rags to look like the job is being done. One time I came here when a major rain storm had started where I paid and they didn’t do any cleaning of interior and the owner didn’t bother to give a refund or even partial refund. Today paid $45 for a bs cleaning. Told the owner, and he said this is what a superior deluxe 2 is. U have to pay $100+ to get a decent wash. Won’t be coming here anymore.

Horrible will never come here again I got the best option I can get and my car still very dirty have to take it to another car wash

I took my car here for a basic wash and left with deep scratches across my hood that were absolutely not there before. It literally looks like someone dragged a branch or a piece of debris across the paint. These are not normal swirl marks from a wash — they are long, visible scratches that cut across the hood, and they showed up immediately after leaving the wash. I take good care of my car, so seeing damage like this from something that’s supposed to clean it is extremely frustrating. If you care about your paint, I would seriously think twice before bringing your car here, especially if they’re using brushes or equipment that isn’t properly maintained. Very disappointed with this experience.

I highly recommend you stand there and watch them work. Because I paired 70 bucks for what should have been their super duper washy washy and they tried to just pass it off for spit shine with no armor all on my tires. It was only until I raised hell that they then took my car to the other side where they actually pretend to do a good job. After 45 minutes my car is clean but still had to point out a few things for them to half heartedly wipe it down properly. Again you gatta stand over them the whole 46 and a half minutes and point things out to them otherwise you get treated like… you fill in the blanks. I gave two stars only because I’m in a good mood otherwise this would have been yet another 1 star review for the car wash industry in queens.
