Found a Scion XB for a really good price on craigslist from this place. The ad was clear it was a salvaged title (which I dont care about). I called and the owner, John, met me on a Sunday on his day off to show me the car. He was extremely forward about everything he knew about the car. Gave me several photos from the auction site he got it from, showing all the damage it had that he and his crew fixed. We test drove it and he encouraged me to go on the freeway. He had no issues with me checking all the fluids, plugging in a scanner, etc. Said I could take it to a mechanic for inspection if I wanted. He hid nothing. Super nice and honorable guy. John was very straight forward about everything and went out of his way to make sure we had all of the information we needed about the Scion we were looking at. He let us take it to our mechanic for a pre purchase check and even got a carfax for the car.
