Tried getting a tow truck for a co-worker because his truck broke down on the ride home but the boss tried paying the credit card said they couldn't take a credit card over the phone, Even though their websites says credit card, MasterCard debit card.

My husband and I were making a two hour trip up to our place in NH, and our car started behaving erratically- the power steering died, then the car started to shudder and lurched suddenly. I am a nervous passenger, and insisted we stop. J&D was two miles away so we pulled in there. The owners were so kind. They were very busy, but were able to identify that the problem was the alternator, and helped us figure out what to do. While my husband and the mechanic were with the car, the woman in the office chatted with me, made me comfortable place to sit, and introduced me to her wonderful pets. This kindness was so welcome after a nerve-wracking experience in the car, and a reminder of what a gift it is in life to find someone willing to offer help and conversation when you need it.

I would highly recommend anyone but these people. Especially if you need an emergency tow. Their rates are are ridiculous. If you get that old cranky lady on the phone forget about it. She was one of the rudest people I've ever spoken with.

I had a weird grinding issue coming from one of my tires after driving over 2 hours to the area. They not only were able to accommodate me immediately and resolve the issue, they were also very friendly and enjoyed my conversations while waiting. I would highly recommend if you are in the area and in need.

Very nice, nice owner's. When i pick up vehicles at this facility I Expect to spend 5 or 10 minutes talking with the parrot, a African Gray. He has quite the vocabulary along with different sounds. My favorite, the back up alarm, I thought someone was moving my truck! If you visit J&D MAKE SURE YOU TALK TO THE 🐦!
