I called this morning because I had a check engine light come on and Joey told me to come on in same day anytime. The shop I used to go to told me they could check it out next week. When I arrived at Jackson's auto everyone was friendly. Despite a full parking lot and garage, Joey was able to check out my vehicle, find the cause for the code and make sure it was safe for me to drive. He didn't even charge me for his time. I will be utilizing this shop going forward. They seem like honest people who take pride in their work and helping people.

I meant to post this review a long time ago when it happened, but am just getting to it now. A little over a month ago my blower motor had stopped working and this place was the only shop close by that would replace it for a reasonable price (not too cheap but also not ridiculously expensive). I have a Volvo, so naturally I knew it would be expensive either way. Jackson’s was very communicative and helpful and was able to get it done in a week, which is honestly shorter than I was expecting since the job requires a whole dash removal. I’ve had no issues with the blower motor since then. The day after It was fixed, however, the coolant started leaking too. Since Jackson’s did a great job before I thought I’d take it to them again. The reviews are all positive for a reason. My daughter is a Umaine student and was experiencing some issues with her car. I found Jacksons automotive online and called to ask when it would be possible to bring her car in to get the issue resolved. Joey told me to bring the car right away and we did so. 48 hours later the issue was fixed and very reasonably priced. Joey is an honest and very knowledgeable mechanic. 100% recommended his shop.

I brought my car a week and a half ago for problems in the rear end. They had it for 9 days trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Joey communicated daily what was going on, which I appreciated. On the last day it was there they squeezed in a different car to hopefully get a car back in my possession where I travel for work. Unfortunately neither of the cars panned out, but that wasn’t their fault. Just ended up not being worth it to fix them. They were the most helpful and truly look out for their customers. I would recommend them to anyone just because of how I was treated.

Our daughter got a flat tire recently and Jackson came to the rescue. They towed the car from UMaine on the next business day, replaced the tire and fixed one other issue with the hood. They were quick, responsive, highly competent, and accommodating to our needs. The price was very reasonable and Joey was pleasure to work with. I highly recommend for a great service experience.
