Jacobs VinFast

My wife and I recently leased a new VinFast EV from Jacobs Mitsubishi in New Port Richey, and it was an incredibly frustrating experience. The only positive part of the entire transaction was the finance manager, Rico. Unfortunately, the salesman was completely uninformed and inept about the car's features and functionality. We ended up learning more about the vehicle from another dealership after we had already purchased it. During the leasing process, we were promised a free Level 2 home charger, valued at $800. After we had agreed to the terms and signed the paperwork, they suddenly informed us that the charger wasn't included or available. One star because zero is not an option. Looking at a car with a MSRP from the manufacturer that shows 41912. Deal comes out say MSRP is 47k. Then the most unprofessional sales manager I’ve had the displeasure of ever dealing with says back months ago that is what it was so basically ignore the actual sticker on the car. Then he proceeded to tell me I should have not played games when I bought my trade and was over charged and I wouldn’t be so upside down. Actually we had a hurricane damaged car that we traded that caused us to be upside down but I guess his smug attitude makes him the expert on every car deal in history. Leased 2 vinfasts back in Sept, process was quick and painless, from the sales guy Christian, to the fiance dept, to the service dept, ps, ask for Ms. Early, she's fantastic! The process was so good, brought my wife back the next day and leased a 2nd vf8! So far, so great!

Ashley was fantastic, very informative and entertaining. Made the car buying process so easy and fun, got me on the road in a new Vinfast VF8 and I love everything about it! Highly recommend her if you are interested in any electric vehicle! Great customer service and hospitality.
