Jay's Car Wash/ self service

This car wash has always presented itself as a well cared for business since I've been washing my many cars here over the past 25-30 years! I don't even live in the area anymore and I still come through even with all that awful IH 35 construction ramp-over nightmare! It's nice to have Jay's car wash still here on the northeast side off to toppewein road in live oak! I believe it's the owner or perhaps it's a very long time Android but I seem to see him out there every week keeping up the place. They have a lot of pride in their business and it shows.

Hands down the best self service car wash I've ever been to!!! After getting my truck dirty I looked up car washes , and found this one to be the best rated in my area and headed that way. Coming to find out that the HOT water was doing an amazing job at removing mud. And to help the Hot water had powerful pressure. Once I pulled my tuck out I began cleaning the mud from the floor. The owner showed up with a shovel and told me not to worry about it he'll take care of it.Great customer service!! Who would have thought that at a self service car wash.The vaccum cleaner's had great suction and the owner also provides shampoo for the carpet. Overall had an amazing experience.

It was easy and convenient. The water pressure was great at this location unlike most. I’m from Dallas and visited and tried the car wash and it was on point

This place isn't what it used to be; vacuums fall apart & the suction is awful, armor all cleaner they have eats your money & they never put a sign on, tried calling but they never answer. Then the car washing part is lacking because they never replace the brush heads but everything went up on price. Used to love recommending this place but at this point you might as well go to those newer car wash places all around.

A Korean American started this business. He ran the business perfectly. The place was maintained beautifully and I really enjoyed it. I always knew it would go downhill if he ever sold it. A carpet cleaning company next door bought it and it went downhill very fast in so many ways. The last straw for me happened today when I washed my car. They raised the price significantly as I had to use double the number of coins as previously done. This is the second time they raised prices. I accepted the first price raise because it wasn’t too much, but I will not accept this latest price increase. I will find another place or just wash my vehicles at home. They are losing a very long time customer. I’m voting against this price increase with my feet!
