The most shame goes to myself rushing to try to buy a specific vehicle I was looking for without having another more experienced mechanic inspect it as well. There was already some obvious work the truck was going to need, but things like a parking brake not holding because of it being completely out of adjustment is pretty sloppy. I also later noticed some former hail damage on the roof & hood (it's a tall truck) when I got home & got to looking it over some more. Not a show truck & I can live with it, buy still kinda lousy. The bed is shot, I knew that. The body mounts are done & need replacement...my fault for missing that when trying to look underneath. Live approximately 2 hours away negotiated a price on a truck diesel requested some inspections be completed on the engine this truck was priced high for its year. Was told possible head gasket blown sales agent never got back to me next day posted a truck even higher than original price knowing there's issue with the engine
