Just Brakes Plus

Recently had an accident that resulted in significant damage. The body repair was done at a local shop, but suspension work was ignored or sone improperly, resulting in the steering being a bit off. JBP looked at it did the front arms and replaced all tires (the body shop replaced only the one that was flat and my vehicle is AWD which should have all 4 replaced together) at a decent price. Vehicle now seems to drive a bit better and a little quieter. I now have a new car repair shop.

I had a fairly good experience when I got my oil change there in March 2025, but turned out not so good when I found out what really happened just yesterday. I went to Valvoline Instant Oil Change on October 21st, 2025, and they asked me where I got my last oil change because there was no oil filter in the canister. This was done at Just Brakes Plus, (which I formerly knew as A-Team). I then went back to JBP to let them know and they insisted it's not possible, that my car wouldn't have run even down the road, let alone go 5,000 miles without a filter. They said the person doing the oil change at Valvoline probably didn't realize the filter was there and it just slipped through without them seeing it or something.
