Karl Malone Service Center

Pay a premium price for dealership repairs, and still have long waits for parts, and bad customer service. I've been a loyal customer for many years, but I'm finally done with this service center. The last time my car was in for repairs, the technician promised it would be done by Saturday or Monday at the latest, which turned into Tuesday, which turned into Wednesday, then finally Thursday. And I never received a call, I always had to call him at the end of each day to find out is wasn't ready yet. I reluctantly took my car back in today with a bad alternator. Now it's a 4-day wait for the part and it will cost $1500. Four days for a Toyota alternator at a Toyota dealership while paying premium dealership prices is outrageous.

Was told I need a new transmission and it would take 5-6 working days. The cost is $9k. It’s now been over 2 weeks and they’re saying it’s going to be several more weeks. Meanwhile, I have no car and they won’t provide a loaner car. They said I can rent a car for $45 a day. That’s outrageous! It will be over a month by the time my car is ready. I’m supposed to pay $1,400 to rent a car, on top of the already $9k for the transmission? They won’t even comp the rental car! What kind of dealership is this? They set an expectation and have not come anywhere close to it! Blenda, the original service rep, hasn’t even been in contact with us about it. We had to be proactively calling in. irritated! Called to simply schedule a service appointment. I told him up front i wasn't in the system, I had bought the car new at another dealership. after looking up both mine and my wife's phone numbers he says your not in the system. Anyway just asked to schedule a oil change, he asked for the full vin number which i don't have as my wife is driving the car. I said can you not schedule an appointment and get the vin when i bring it in and he said no he would not be able to schedule an appointment without the vin number. might just drive it up to Tony Divino as I know they will help me.
