I drove up from Albertville with my wife and daughter to visit inlaws in Baxter for Christmas. Had a front bearing fail on 12/23/2025. Called and spoke with Cody? I think, around 10 am. Told him my situation. He said "If you can get it here in an hour I will look at it right away". Brought it in around 11:30ish. Shop looked full. Asked him if he could get to it by Sunday because I had to drive back for work on Monday. He said "If I gotta come in off-hours i will get it done." Ended up getting me back on the road by 4:30ish that day for about half what I thought it was going to cost me. Saved my butt. 100% will come back if I ever have another vehicle issue up here. Kelly’s is the best and has been for years. The new owner, Cody, is amazing and honest. I took my car to a different shop close to my house because it was making an awful noise and I didn’t think I could make it to Kelly’s. Big mistake. This shop in Crosslake said I needed two new rear wheel bearings and new brake pads and rotors. I was shocked as Kelly’s had just replaced my brake pads and rotors within the last year. I called Cody and was upset, questioning if they had truly done the brakes. He assured me they had and offered to do all the same work as the Crosslake shop for half the price. Crosslake quoted me $2030 and Cody quoted me $1000-saving me over $1000. Had my Jeep at Kelly's for a couple of weeks try to diagnose some issues on why the vehicle wasn't running correctly, that I gave to my teenage son. Never once were basic fluids like oil and transmission fluid checked while it was at his shop. I currently live in Virginia, so I didn't have the ability to evaluate basic things like this myself. I would expect this oversight by my son, but not from professional mechanics. Once I was able to see the car after I paid almost $800 in repairs from his shop, noticed that there as over 5 quarts of transmission fluid missing and 2 quarts of oil. The remaining oil and fluid were burnt. Totally unacceptable, so keep looking for a better mechanic.

Needed a fuse after shop hours. They were extremely helpful and wouldn’t take payment. Thanks for your amazing assistance getting us back on the road…

They were able to get me in within a couple hours of my initial phone call. They took a look at my car right away and were able to determine what was wrong with my car and actually showed me what was wrong. They didn't have the tire size I needed in stock and I did need the repair immediately so I didn't use them for the tires but I would have if I was able to wait. They didn't charge me for looking at my car, even though I offered to pay. They were friendly and seemed honest and competent and I would come back again if I was in the area and had car trouble.
