Koskinen's Towing & Repair

Never had a bad experience with a AAA tow company until now. They took 12 HOURS to tow my car one street over. We put the tow request in at 1209 pm. By 322pm it was assigned to Koskinens. I was called all the way at 1030pm saying we could leave our keys in the car for the driver. My boyfriend left the keys in it as suggested. I tried to stay up as long as I could to wait for the driver, just for them to finally come at 331 am, we were sleep. Woke up at 630am and looked outside to find our car on the wrong side of the road FACING TRAFFIC, sideways sticking out in the road, with our bumper SNAPPED OFF. Oh and blocking the driveway to where my neighbors can barely get out. When I called Koskinens, I was nice ..didn’t yell. Jamie decided he was going to hang up on me, called again & he told me

Called for a AAA tow. Received an email that Koskinen's was the tow company towing. I called to ask if I needed to be there present with the vehicle. I was told that I didnt have to be present and to just leave the key in cup holder.(so thats what I did). All that was wrong with my suv was a broken CV shaft. Fast forward to the drop off my suv. Now my suv will not move out of park mode. I called to ask what happened to my suv. Dispatch told me the driver said there was NO KEY in the suv. Which was a lie. I have it on camera of me putting the key in the suv, from my work parking lot. I asked for the owner to call me. He never called. So I called back again. All for a man to cuss me out and tell me its not his problem and they didnt break my vehicle. Told me to file a claim through AAA. Lik

Lewis is a horrible human and employee. Worst experience ever. Was being told with a contract from AAA. This guy shows up 14 hours later. AAA told me I didn’t have to be there. He insisted that I had to be there and made me drive all the way back to where my vehicle was after waiting 7 1/2 hours. Then it was around 8 p.m. He called me and insisted that I went back. I told him we would take 15 minutes to get there. He said that I needed to get there as soon as possible. He would leave. I got there just as he was leaving and refused to tow my vehicle. It took me about 16 minutes to get there with the weather. The worst part is that AAA told me I didn’t need to be there and he insisted that I needed to be there to show him ID. He just didn’t want to do the work because I called AAA afterwards

They towed my car and it was a nightmare trying to get it back. Neither the address on google maps nor on their website were accurate. I had to Email them to find out where my car went (their lot is at 520 Esty St in Ithaca). Later that night i called them to ask how they towed my car and just to get some more information(their phones weren't working earlier when i tried to get ahold of them), and the guy who answered was extremely rude and defensive. They also had me pay the fee in cash (over $200) and didn't give me any kind of receipt, which just seems weird.

Rented a Home Depot box truck, stuck in the mud of my backyard. Jamie and Jim were trying their best to pull the truck out, it’s 300feet away from the road. I can tell Jim is experienced, knowing how much weight and the right angel to pull the HD box truck out. Learned some about the soil and towing. Burnt some money to avoid future mistakes to me. And they charged reasonable price.
