My car showed a "check brake pads" sign and signaled that it needs immediate attention. Andy was able to give me an appointment on short notice and fixed it. From the beginning on, he was transparent about the price and very friendly to work with. As I was curious, he explained to me how the brakes work and let me watch him fix it. He showed great attention to all details, noticing some other minor things on the car that he fixed on the go and for free. In the end, I had learned a bunch, my car was fixed, and all for a very fair price. I haven't found a better shop around Ithaca yet - highly recommended.

These guys were very honest, and did the repair for a fraction of one of the chain / dealers would have charged - less than $100 for a brake job, including the higher grade parts (which they let me buy separately). The shop isn't fancy, and the guys are hard working / down and dirty get it done kind of mechanics, so if you need a corporate auto repair shop this isn't the place for you.

I've been going to Willowtree for more than 15 years, and they are far and away the best auto service ever. They are honest, competent, and thorough.. Oh, and reasonable. They alert you to possible problems and the least expensive way to fix them. When they fix my car I KNOW that it's fixed right and that my ride is safe. If you need auto repair in the Ithaca, tompkins county area, there is only one place to go: Willowtree.

We were quoted $500+ by the dealer for a simple repair. Then the next day they told us that the part would cost another $100. We ordered the part on Amazon for $80 and Willow Tree installed it for less than $60.

The owner operator is honest and fair priced. He will show you the bad part and explain why it's bad and why it's necessary to replace it. Compare his prices with competitors and you'll be going to Willow Tree.
