Added update** Extremely disappointed — overfilled oil caused serious issues. Wish I could leave negative stars!! I brought my vehicle here to have all services done before driving to California with my two kids. Unfortunately, the oil was significantly overfilled, which has now caused multiple problems. I had a perfectly functioning car before this. No lights on. Since the oil had nowhere to go, it leaked into areas it shouldn’t have and damaged my mass air flow sensor and possibly catalyst converter. I now need another oil change and repairs, hoping it doesn't continue to flow into the throttle body. My car is now throwing error codes P0420 and P1101, and I’m lucky I even made it to California without breaking down completely — especially with my children in the car. What’s most conce

Avoid!! Fortunately for them I can’t rate lower than a 1 star. I went in for an oil change and now I don’t have a vehicle… I took my vehicle to Kwik Kar for a routine oil change. Shortly after checking out and driving away, I immediately noticed the vehicle was shaking. I intended to return to the Kwik Kar location but, as I approached the intersection of Hwy 377 and Basswood Blvd, the shaking became severe and the vehicle lost acceleration. Moments later, thick white smoke began pouring from the engine. I managed to make a U-turn but was promptly stopped by the Fort Worth Police Department due to the excessive smoke. I brought my Ram 1500 in right before closing with no AC, and by midday the next day I was back on the road with cold air. They replaced the blower motor, resistor, and pigtail, and the repair came with a warranty. The bill was around $700, which felt high on parts, but the labor was fair and the turnaround was quick. For me the convenience was worth it because my truck is my livelihood. Shout out to Ernie for being excellent on communication and keeping me updated. That level of service matters.

Unlike multiple other places I've went to locally, Kwik Kar actually lived up to their name. Competitive prices and you actually get in and out in a decent amount of time. I'll definitely return!
