Kwik Kar Wash

Place needs a huge update. Credit card don't work, change machine only accepts $1.00 bills, not $5.00 like normal places. Looks abandoned, old and needs lots of TLC. The hoses leak water as shown in pictures i took and don't have enough strong psi pressure, area is clean, trash bins are empty, vacuum works, the sink is broken and looks like maintenance hasn't taken action to fix the issue, the sink roller is cracked dried and very old which needs replacement already, brick carwash walls are dirty like they haven't been cleaned in years. Please power wash the walls. It isn't hard to do especially having the equipment there already. Also timers don't work so best of luck knowing how much time you got. There's just so many errors I found in this place. Please update this carwash, it don't nee

I tap my card just a single time, and the machine charged me 4 times, and I only used like 12 minutes out of 41. And the machine didn’t let me stop the time

The property is clean. I live in Carlsbad and a lot of those self service car washes skimp on the cleaning products and the pressure for the spot free rinse. You can actually get your car washed well within the time frame with the initial money you deposit. This is a good place to get your car washed quickly.

All equipment maintained and operational. Easy access from the street.

Sub par pressure washer and wash options. Time remaining wasn’t ever fully visible on worn out display. The real fun was the jolts of electrical shock going through hand and arm when stabilizing wand with other hand. Change machine didn’t work to start, was in a hurry so used credit card in bay to the left of center. Placed hold on card for $6 when $5 was supposed to be the maximum for each swipe. Owners information wasn’t posted on premises or at least in easily found central area. Was just passing through town and that’s the first self serve car wash I saw. A couple other vehicles pulled in started a wash and left after barely starting; seemed upset but didn’t ask. 2 of those vehicles were down the street at another car wash that was full of cars and looked to be of a lot better service
