LeadCar Honda Yorkville Service Center

Brought our Accord in for a cv axle issue and the woman that talked with us was polite, professional and quick. She explained the issue we had, the recall that was out for our car etc. They started work in the AM and she called at 345pm same day to say our car was ready for pick up no charge. The recall covered all broken parts and vehicle drove like new after the repair. LeadCar was awesome 👌 and definitely recommend going to them for help with your Honda.

Just moved here and have used this dealer twice for my service needs. The first appt took far longer than expected and cost more due to added labor for an electrical issue. The second appointment, I showed up and the part that was supposed to be installed was not there, despite ordering it 2.5 weeks ago. The only communication I received was the multiple messages about my upcoming appt, nothing about the part not being delivered yet. Every appointment i have tried to schedule is ALWAYS 2+ weeks out. The folks who do the check in process for service have always been kind. But overall, I have been less than impressed with the service center here.

My first experience attempting to obtain service at this center did not go well. Per the website it states you can obtain a walk in inspection although you should arrive early …. I arrived 15 minutes prior to opening and waited in car on the service line (which has been my experience with other Honda service centers) after waiting 15 minutes past the opening time and calling the service center and front desk (both lines went unanswered by staff) I walked in. Waited another 10 minutes while the only staff member finished a call and then was barely greeted as it seemed my mere presence at the location irritated the staff member. I asked for an inspection and was informed (contrary to website information) an appointment would be required and the earliest appointment is for over 2 weeks out. I

Made a last minute appointment at the service center, and they were very quick! They pulled my car in immediately, communicated great about what was going on within 10 minutes, and were able to fix it and send me on my way within the hour. Definitely will be back!

Sebastian is the best. He’s my go to car repair and service rep, but I’ve also worked with others and they were great too. They shoot straight with price and parts. The mechanics will take you out back and show you/explain if you have any questions. You’ll pay more than at Mavis because it’s a dealer if it’s a big job, but there are some things that NEED to be done by a dealer, and for the little stuff that can be done elsewhere like brakes and oil, their prices are competitive, they get you in quick, and even for major jobs, they’ll put you in a loaner if there’s one available and it’s going to be more than a couple hours. The waiting room is nice with free coffee and water. I’ve been impressed every time I’ve been in.
