We purchased our vehicle from a different dealership before moving to this area. After relocating, this dealership performed several required warranty services. During one visit, they told my wife the tires were unsafe and convinced her that replacement was necessary, resulting in her purchasing a new set of tires from them. We later had recalls outstanding, but were repeatedly told they could not be scheduled due to parts being unavailable. After more than a year of delays, we contacted the original dealership where the vehicle was purchased, and they scheduled the recall repairs for the following week. While there, we also had an oil change and tire rotation performed. That dealership stated they could not rotate the tires due to a stripped lug nut and wanted to charge us for the repai
I purchased a Honda CRV in January. I initially began bringing my vehicle to this dealership because my low tire pressure light kept coming on. Each time I raised the concern, I was told it was due to weather changes and the tires were simply filled with air. I trusted this explanation and continued driving under the assumption there was no underlying issue. Months later, my tire went completely flat. I took my vehicle to an independent tire shop, where I was informed that all four tires had dry rot, with two in particularly dangerous condition, making the vehicle unsafe to drive. This information was never communicated to me during any of my previous visits, despite my repeated complaints about tire pressure. In addition to the unresolved service issue, I experienced a serious breach of
I purchased a brand-new 2025 Honda HRV from Southpoint Honda on September 11, 2024. A month after driving this car, I noticed a grinding noise from the rear passenger when backing up and driving up a slight hill. The noise continues to get my attention, so I scheduled to bring my car to the service dealer to check the brakes. I took my car to Southpoint Honda multiple times, and they still insisted nothing was wrong. I decided to take my car to Leith Honda in Raleigh for a second opinion, and they also denied that there was anything wrong. They stated that all new cars have that noise, and it's normal. I continue to reiterate to them that the noise is not normal for a brand-new car. In addition to the grinding noise, the car has chalk-like smearing on the paint and on the vinyl of the doo
Customer of 3 years, Honda owner of 13. I recently brought my car in for an AC repair. I was charged a diagnositc fee of $475 (higher than a typical mechanic) but was confident I would get the problem fixed. After about 2 hours, I was told they weren't able to pinpoint the problem, but they recommended I replace the condenser ($1,700) and start there. If the whole system was to be replaced, and that was a real possibility, the quote I was given was $12,000. $12k!!! My car is not even worth that much...so I looked for a different quote. I ended getting my entire AC replaced for $2500 at C&C on Western, nearly $10k less than the quote Honda gave me with a 3 year warranty. After getting a second opinion, I realized how absurd the price Honda was offering was. I then called the service dept. a
I couldn’t just do a survey alone for my experience with Ms. Maria Antunes. — I was blown away by her efforts and communication while having my car serviced, then to be informed she was still in training I could have been fooled— she was INCREDIBLE. Communication is a big thing while trusting someone with our vehicles, it helps us feel more involved in the entire process while waiting for maintenance and repairs to be done. Great work! I look forward to working with her and Carrie pendergrass in my future services!
