Leon’s auto werks is THE best mechanic in all of morris county. Leon and his crew are trained professionals who know what they’re doing and get the job done quick and efficient. I’ve not once gone to any other mechanic since my first coming here and I highly recommend this place to everyone with car troubles, whether simple or complicated, they figure it out.

My battery light came on while commuting to work on route 80 NJ. I took the nearest exit before the battery dies out. The alternator was not working and recharging the battery. I somehow found myself in front of his shop. This what I experienced: Honest, professional, diagnosed the problem correctly and ran checks to isolate the issue. His staff were courteous and managed to get the part in record time. He replaced the part and he did not overcharged me. Leon's will be our mechanic from now on. I Highly recommend this mechanic. Back in 2014 I brought my 05 accord to Leon. Check engine light for timing chain range and catalytic codes. Tells me bad timing sensor and bad catalytic. Replaces both. I pickup car and check engine light comes on while driving it home. I scan it and the timing code is coming on again. Bring it back. A few days later Leon says its ready. A few months later I go for inspection and fail it for check engine light for timing code yet my light on dash isn't on. I take it to Honda. They said the dash was taken apart and the check engine light was disabled. So instead of admitting he couldn't fix the issue, he or one of his apprentices decided to just disable the light in the dash to fool me. When I called to confront and discuss, I was met with an attitude and denial.

So my grandmother just called me. She's 84. Get car was making noises so she took it to Leon's. Not only did he drive her home but when she called to check in about it later that day he went and picked her up to get her car back. Sadly, as women we have to be weary about who we can trust sometimes- especially a woman of her age- she could have been taken advantage of easily and wouldn't have known the wiser. What an honest and generous man. I will go out of my way to support his buisness and will tell everyone from now on to do the same.
