Lightning Recovery & Towing

Absolutely horrible experience with this towing company. The customer service was beyond terrible. The woman answering the phones at the front desk was incredibly rude, dismissive, and acted like helping customers was the last thing she wanted to do. Every question I asked was met with attitude and impatience. When you're already dealing with the stress and stuck on the side of the highway, the last thing you should have to deal with is someone treating you like an inconvenience. Basic professionalism and kindness clearly don’t exist here. I would strongly recommend taking your business somewhere else where customers are actually treated with respect. This company seriously needs to work on how they speak to people & maybe get rid of the main problem which is the Karen at the front desk.

I tried to get a tow through a T-Mobile roadside service, which is a monthly subscription where you pay and receive a certain number of free towing miles. A driver came out, looked over the car, took the keys, and began preparing for the tow. I went back inside, and a couple of minutes later he returned and told me the car was too low. He said he needed to get ramps and additional equipment and that he would come back the next day. Keep in mind, he never asked me to sign any waiver or paperwork. I also have the entire interaction recorded on my home video system. The next day, they marked the tow as “completed.” When I called them, a very rude woman answered the phone and began making several excuses about why she wouldn’t send the driver back. She claimed the cooling system was too low

We were told a 90 min ETA and without warning, they kept extending it 20 min, another 20 min. We have now waited over 2 and a half hours and they’re not here.

The worst wouldn’t recommend to anyone poor customer service and consideration for women had the audacity ask a female to shovel out a vehicle when it was plenty of room to pull the vehicle and driver was rude and snotty you guys suck

Goes above and beyond! I deal with multiple service companies in the area on a regular basis and Lightning is top notch.
