Brought my 2022 Honda to Manchester Transmission, it needed a transmission. After picking up the car, when putting the car in park the car would not fully shutdown. Brought it back TWICE and they could not figure out the problem. Jay recommended I bring the car to Paul’s Auto which I did. They determined that the shift gears were not properly adjusted after the transmission work was done. As well as a leak in the transmission. Luckily I bought the warranty because Jay refused to pay Paul’s to fix the car. He wanted me to bring it back to him to fix. After bringing the car there twice they couldn’t fix it or find out what was wrong, and the transmission leak I wasn’t told about, I do not trust Manchester Transmission. Almost 7k paid to Manchester Transmission and no apology was given,

I couldn’t be happier about putting this review on for Manchester transmissions. We had a Nissan juke that my son absolutely loved and we put a ton of work into. Unfortunately, it started having transmission issues. we brought it to Manchester transmissions and Jay was able to diagnose that the transmission was damaged beyond repair. But instead of charging us money and taking it apart, he was able to diagnose it for free. It’s rare to find such an honest and humble shop and person in the auto repair business. I was so grateful for his help and for saving us so much money! This is a shop you can trust!

I was more than pleased with my experience with Manchester Transmission. My Honda broke down in Willimantic. The garage that picked it up gave me the code and said the transmission had to be reprogrammed and only could be done by a dealer. So the y towed it to the dealer. They had the car for 6 days and told me I need a new transmission at a cost of $10,000.00. I called Manchester Transmission and spoke to Jay. Jay told me that signal had nothing to do with a mechanical problem with the transmission. After 8 days at the dealer and explaining to them what I had found out they said no it needed a new transmission and the don’t even test the Transmission Control Modular. So because the car would move I paid the dealer $219.00 and took my car directly to Jay at Manchester Transmission that was

Can't say enough good things about this place! Jay is very honest and resourceful. He gave me updates on the car every step of the way and was happy to show me what they were doing.They took on a difficult project for an obscure 80s car with no issue. They went above and beyond with repairing this car and I couldn't be happier! I'd recommend Manchester Transmissions to anyone and would certainly use them again. Thank you Jay, Lincoln, and everyone else who worked on the car!

Great diagnostic work by Alex and Jay. They found things that other shops ignored. I'm very happy with the work they did and pleased that they had the ability to search out parts for my 1998 Chevy C 1500 WT. God bless Manchester transmission.
