Manny’s Automotive Repair

I heard about Manny’s Automotive Repair through the Lower Merion Community Facebook page where I asked if anyone knew of a Saab mechanic in the area: someone suggested I talk to Manny who’s a great mechanic and has experience with Saab, Volvo and other European vehicles. In January I went to get a State Inspection at a local garage and I was told that I needed to replace five suspension parts but, when I took the car to Manny, he found nothing wrong with these parts so he was able to complete the State Inspection. However, he did find a leak in the coolant piping system which was near failure; it would have been catastrophic if it had failed. I bought a used Honda Civic in Philly and planned to drive it home to Florida after a trip to visit my parents. About a hour into the drive back the car went into limp mode, he assessed the issue and fixed it, good to go in a few hours. Made it back to Florida after the 20 hour drive tonight and it ran perfectly, just wanted to express how awesome my experience was with him especially traveling with my small family. Manny came highly recommended for my old Volvo, so I thought I’d make the drive from Bryn Mawr to Springfield since the mechanic here really didn’t know my car. Now, I won’t be going anyplace else, Manny and Derek are the best! Starting with getting me done for inspection and oil change quickly because I had to wait, to being so honest, kind and fair. Plus the reassurance from Volvo experts that my vehicle is in pretty decent condition and safe on the road. After receiving a 7k estimate for inspection last year from a shop I won’t mention, I thought it was ready to fall apart! Now I highly recommend Manny’s! You can’t go wrong!

I chose to go to Manny's because he had great reviews. After having worked with him, I understand why. The dealership I went to lead me to believe that my car was a gonner - or that 'd have to pay thousands upon thousands of dollars to repair. I got a second opinion from Manny and he was able to bring my car back to life within a days time, for a tenth of the price the dealership was trying to charge me.
