Contacted Marty to diagnose no Air conditioning in my 2000 jeep. He completed a $180 air conditioning recharge but told me I had no air flow. He thought I might have an issue with the cooling fan so when I drive my car, I would not get air conditioning while idling, but would get some airflow while driving. I asked him 2x “if I don’t have a cooling fan will my car overheat?” He told me “no, worst case scenario it would shut down.” Then I asked him if we could repair the cooling fan for under $1000? He told me “it would cost at least $1000 just for me to get into the dashboard system.” I picked up car on a Fridayafternoon and on Saturday morning my husband and I drove to McDonald’s in town. We’ve been taking our cars to Marty’s ever since we moved to Frankfort in 2013. The most important thing I need when dealing with a repair shop is knowing that I’m not getting overcharged. I called Marty about replacing an engine in one of our vehicles and although the service was going to be around $8000 he told me I was crazy if I didn’t Get that car to the dealer because he felt that it should be replaced under the warranty. Thank goodness, I listened to him because I got a new motor under the manufacturer warranty. Thanks Marty!!

Marty is an honest, hard-working guy who knows what he's doing when it comes to cars and trucks. He is a great mechanic and very personable. He has worked wonders on our old Ford van -- so thankful he can keep it running!! :)

Marty is a fantastic mechanic at a great little shop. Honest, straight forward and so far keeps coming in under intial estimates. We will continue to bring our cars (some of them getting older) to Marty to work on.

Extremely helpful in completing repairs I was unable to. Needed Jeep rear differential rebuilt that was beyond my auto maintenance expertise. Reasonable hourly pricing for work being done. Be sure to plan ahead, call and discuss problem & make appointment & get estimate. Usually 2 week wait, & some inspections or service can be done same, day like a/c recharge/discharge & inspection, but call ahead.
