I purchased my VW Atlas about 8 months ago and had the smoothest experience. I came in today for my first service which was completely free of charge. The staff from sales to service were all so friendly. They explained everything from start to finish. I would highly recommend Matheny Volkswagen of Parkersburg!

I was in search of a 2025 Tiguan 2.0T sel R-line and they had the one I was looking for. A dealer within an hour of me wouldn't work with me on price because there was none of this model around. Damon was my salesman and we worked the deal over the phone and drove 4 hours to pick it up. Upon arrival at the dealership they had the car ready and was absolutely wonderful. Damon took the time to make sure we were comfortable with all the features and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend Damon if your looking for a new volkswagen he was awesome.

Had a referral to Matheny by my boyfriends mom, she's bought many cars from here for the family and I now see why. Working with Damon and his team was a fun and easy experience, fairly quick too. The lot has a great inventory and the prices are fair as well, 10/10

I have been to this dealership a couple of times. Service department always friendly and helpful. Never have to wait long. Much better than pioneer Honda!!

Bad experience. The sales guy was nice but never once checked in to see how the car was after it was delivered and fell off the face of the earth. The communication was bad and the sales manager and finance manger couldn’t get on the same page. Asked them to touch up the car from rock chips and they couldn’t even be bothered to paint match it looked like they used whiteout. Delivery driver smoked in my car on the way up and it arrived dirty and covered in road grime ever heard of a car wash? Overall less than average experience from an industry where the bar is already so low. I wouldn’t want to buy from them again and recommend you avoid them if possible.
