We had the best experience! We called & Clayton talked to me, then after answering all my questions delivered a BMW to us! It was convertible & beautiful! He was so easy to deal with & was so nice. He called to make sure we were happy with it & even told us where we could go visit (because we didn’t know where to go in town). Thank you so much for the help & thank you you Clayton!!!

Highly recommend! This rental was much more affordable compared to Turo and airport rental companies, and we still got to drive a really cool car. Pick up and drop off were easy, the owners were great to communicate with, and they were very flexible. The car truly made our trip.

Had the best (and easiest) experience renting a little red Mazda MX 5 for the week. Pick up and drop off were a breeze and the car was so much fun to drive around the island! We rented an SUV from a national rental company and that process was a huge hassle and we ended up getting the wrong car. I would use Mauka Hualalai any day before I would rent from the big companies at the airport again. The car was clean and well cared for. The guys were helpful and easy to communicate with. No long holds or run around, just straight up great customer service! Use them, you won't regret it!

My sister and I rented this gorgeous orange Mini Cooper from Jason in April 2025 and had an amazing experience! Jason was fantastic - so friendly, kind, accommodating, responsive, and happy to help! He made the process so easy and was happy to answer any questions we had. The car was also phenomenal! I have never driven a mini before and let me tell you she drives like a dream! So easy to handle and manoeuvre and it was so much fun to drive around the island with the top down with the simple push of a button. Just note for your trip that if you are renting this car, you will have to stick to the roads - it is not meant for off roading so if you have any plans to go up Mauna Kea or explore off-road, you will need something a little bigger. This local, family-owned car rental is a fantastic, affordable alternative to the major airport corporations and a business truly worth supporting. We rented a convertible Mini Cooper that was an absolute blast to drive and made navigating the island incredibly easy. While compact, it surprisingly fit one large bag in the back seat with enough trunk space for a smaller bag and extra items. The owners are a sweet, community-oriented family who went above and beyond by providing excellent local recommendations for our trip. I highly recommend choosing them for a more personal, budget-friendly experience!
