Mavis Discount Tire

I had a really great experience again with Mavis Tire. Akeem, the store manager, was very helpful and caring when I had difficulties with my car. The mechanics are top-notch, always give 100%, and double-check their work, which I greatly appreciate. I’m just coming off a three-month bad experience with a Firestone store, they did a tire rotation for me, and never tightened the left front wheel lug nuts. Since then, I recently had two tires put on by another mechanical shop, and they put the tires on backwards where they were supposed to face in, they faced out. The Mavis mechanic spotted that and corrected the problem for me. I cannot say enough about the great care and concern that Akeem has shown me. I don’t change mechanics frequently. I had a very disappointing experience will not be returning!!! I dropped my vehicle off in the morning expecting the work to be completed in a reasonable timeframe, but when I came back later, nothing had been done. To make matters worse, the staff was unprofessional and unhelpful. I understand places get busy, but there’s no excuse for the lack of progress and the attitude I received from the manager Akeim. I would not recommend this location to anyone looking for reliable or respectful service.

I had a pleasant experience. The front desk was very kind along with the rest of the staff. Turns out my vehicle didn't need work like I thought but the staff was very communicative throughout the entire process. They took their time and gave me plenty of information that was all needed. Thank you mavis of Jackson. I definitely recommend coming to this location. Compared to other shops, I've been over talked, peer pressured and over charged. Mavis of Jackson were polite, honest, and very trusting.

I’ve had great experiences with Mavis in Jackson. I thought I was in for a big expense for a battery replacement and alternator. They checked the car and found only the battery needed replacement. They got me in and out in no time. I appreciate a car repair company that treats a woman honestly and doesn’t try to oversell services.
