I’ve been going to McDonough’s Auto Repair for so long, I think my car’s starting to think it lives there. I pull up, and it’s like, “Ah yes, my people!” Todd and his guys? Absolute legends. The kind of folks who pop the hood and instantly know what’s wrong like some kind of automotive whisperers. They could probably fix your car with one hand, blindfolded, while holding a coffee in the other. And they’d still offer you a ride home. I’ve had issues I didn’t even know existed. I walk in saying, “Hey, my car’s making this weird clunk-clunk noise,” and they’re like, “Say no more.” Next thing you know, it's running smoother than a jazz sax solo. And the honesty? Unreal. Todd is great, he has kept my blueberry going in the best condition she could be in for a 21 year old car and has always provided the best customer service. I couldn’t recommend him more. He’s just the best!

We used to go to Todd for years for all of our car’s needs. He took over my Mom’s friend Jim’s old shop (Fleming & Sons Auto). When Jim Fleming retired and closed up Fleming & Sons on Rt. 13, Todd started renting the space out from him and running McDonough’s Auto Repair out of there. He is an honest, down to earth guy. He did move to a new location in Bristol. I just really wish that he would hire some help.

The number one quality in any auto repair place these days that we all look for is honesty. This is that place. You're not going to get a snow job. They'll tell you if it's a cheap repair and not try and make it something that it isn't. Which brings us to the second quality. Competent mechanics. They do outstanding work. It will be done right. And lastly, cost. Inexpensive. Sum it up as you're getting honest, quality work done at an affordable price. It's an established business in a new location. Highly recommend.
