McLarty Collision North

Very disappointed with the work done at McLarty Body Shop. I brought my truck in for repairs and when I got it back, it was clear the job wasn’t done right. There are noticeable hood gaps and bumper gaps that make the truck look misaligned and poorly repaired. For a body shop, attention to detail should be a priority, but that clearly wasn’t the case here. I expected much better quality and won’t be returning.

They’ve had my car for over a month. I haven’t received a single update from them without having to call and harass them. Moe is very hard to get in contact with. When we finally spoke a couple days ago he stated I’d have my car back today, Christmas Eve. He also failed to inform me that they’d be closing at noon. I called to see when I could come pick up my car and they stated once again that it wasn’t ready. I asked to speak with him and they stated he was assisting someone else and would call me back. That was about 20 minutes ago and he still hasn’t called. So here I am, car less because I only extended my rental to today.

Got an estimate then they upped it after I dropped it off. I had a minor scrape on front panel but was told the bumper and grill had to be replaced -- $1500 more. They missed two due dates and failed to call back. After being told a later date, they failed to get it done on that date. So after two week, still waiting and keep hearing parts supplier is having issues. Now it's the bumper has to be painted and it may be ready four, maybe five days. Never again.

I took my car to McClarty Ford because of a knocking and rattling on the passenger side of the car. When I got my car back, the “Check Engine” light was on and the car was squeaking like old springs, and they refused to admit that they had anything to do with it. I explained that the light wasn’t on before I brought it to them but they refused to fix it - they wanted me to pay for what they did! Never again! The mechanics are Do Not know what they’re doing! They’ve lowered the trade-in value of my car and the guy had the nerve to suggest that I can always trade it in to them! I will not be doing business with them again!

I always have to leave a message for Erin who never calls back nor emails back. My car has been there since Nov 19th, and I have no update on the status of my car. I will never use this place again!
