I apologize for the length of this review but I believe it is important for everyone to know what kind of company Meineke really is. I brought my car to Meineke for an oil change back in July. During the inspection they indicated that my rack and pinion was cracked and leaking and needed to be replaced. I did some research and talked to the shop and decided to do the repairs as the symptoms of a failing rack and pinion were similar to some symptoms I had been experiencing, and I thought they were trustworthy as they did a solid for me on a brake repair several months prior. I also drive for work and need safe transportation. Meineke performed the repair the next week, and I then had an alignment done at another repair shop that I have a lifetime alignment with. This is supposed to be a walk in place that people can go to and get their cars fixed the same day in most cases. All I needed was an inspection to find out why my car was stalling, and they told me that they had too many people with appointments that they were going to be unable to look at my car. Since when do walk in places, take appointments and turn paying customers away. He was already expecting cancellations and having to order parts, but he couldn't take my car in and look at it and tell me what was wrong with it. If I wanted to leave my car, I would have went to a mechanic that requires appointments and Requires that you leave your car. This, this place does not advertise that kind of service.It advertises you bring your car in, and we look at it that day and tell you what's wrong

I trust this establishment with a lot of routine maintenance task. Quick, thorough and cost effective. Danny the mgr is very professional and accommodating. Highly recommend.

⚠️ WARNING DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE--EVER! I had taken my Kia there knowing I needed new brake pads on the front. I had heard the grinding sound of them having been worn and normally would replace these on my own. It's a very very easy job. (Less than 250.00 if you have to replace the rotors). I was needing to be out of town that day and my wife needed the car so we decided to drop it off at Meineke at 95th and Quivira because they said they could do it and be done by midday. When we dropped it off we authorized the normal inspection and I told my wife at that time they're going to call and tell us we need a whole bunch of stuff. Sure enough following their inspection, they called and said we needed new pads and new rotors. We agreed to that but then wouldn't you know it after t

2016 Nissan Juke Went in for some brake work, ended up getting a CV shaft replaced. Their inspection process I would say is good, and they provide photos, however, you should be present to self inspect some of the items that are listed as needing repair, because some are just showing signs of wear and not requiring replacement. If you just let them fix everything they find, you could be paying thousands of dollars (and we ended up paying thousands of dollars anyway) but the repairs were justified. Regarding the CV shaft, they had to remove it from the transmission, and the fluid drained out. Then, they had to refill the transmission. My son took the car and drove it to Iowa the very next day and complained to me about the brakes, where we were able to get the brakes repaired properly fo
