I had an unexpected repair on my exhaust system that needed to get done asap. The team at Meineke got the repair done fast and right. Tried to do a simple oil change and added a brake pad replacement for the car, they added the rotors WITHOUT approval and were adamant in their refusal of us using the coupons from their website for the service, increasing the cost and claiming we approved it, when we didn't. Made a huge deal as if it was a burden on them to not do the rotors and tried to push it on my girlfriend and me. Simple transaction just made it into an argument for no reason here. Not to mention it all of how their brake pads are abhorrently overpriced, twice as much as nearby shops, so stick to oil changes here and nothing else, make SURE to PUSH for the coupons on their websites. They try to lure you in with all these breaks but then do their best to prevent you from using them

Nice guys, service was fine. But their technician with “20 years experience” totally misdiagnosed a heating system issue. They said it was a faulty climate control panel and quoted me $2100 to replace. I bought the part myself for $60, installed it - still no heat. Another local shop found the issue was just a misplaced fuse, 5 minute fix, charged me nothing. Would’ve been a huge waste of $$$$ here

My experience was great. Craig explained everything that was going on with my car. Craig and all the staff were friendly, polite and very professional. I will definetly will we going back. Thank you all again.

All else aside, there was no point in even considering replacing a simple sensor if we knew the engine had further significant problems. A good mechanic would have said that the sensor is one of the issues but would not resolve a blinking check engine. A good mechanic would say more than just a sensor is the issue and they did not do that. All jobs would have been declined in that case, this was treated more an attempt to just get money as opposed to actually being upfront about the issue at hand. Why make it sound compelling to replace a sensor knowing it would do virtually nothing and then not even explain that. Do better.
