I had work done at Midas and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the team was professional, straightforward, and efficient. They explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work, and got the job done right. The turnaround time was solid, the communication was on point, and the workmanship speaks for itself. It’s hard to find shops that balance honesty, skill, and customer service — but this location nailed it. If you want quality work without the runaround, Midas delivered. I’ll absolutely be back

This was my first time at a Midas because I needed to repair an oil leak, and I was very impressed from the moment I arrived. The waiting area was clean and inviting, the service writer was friendly and professional, the manager was exceptional, and they all made me feel like a valued customer! I will definitely recommend Midas to my family and friends.

Owen and his team have done it again! Awesome customer service and they got me in and out! Went for an oil change and then a week later had some ice stuck under my car and a piece of plastic was hanging down and they took care of it. Super grateful and will be back. 10/10

We’ve gone here before to replace damaged tires after my husband was referred by a friend, and it was a great experience. We came back recently for a tire rebalance after hitting a large bump that caused some jiggling. We were worried about possible suspension damage. Even after having to reschedule our initial appointment, they got us in later the same day without any issues. After explaining what happened, they did a 20-25 minute courtesy inspection and were completely honest about their findings — no damage at all, just ice buildup from running the car in the snow. No unexpected charges, no pushy upsells — just a clean bill of health and a heads-up that our wiper blades will need replacing soon. Went here to get a simple oil change and was quoted $1000 for rear brake pads & rotors. Told me my breaks were extremely worn down and needed to do minimal driving until I could get it in. I did not feel like $1000 was right for only the rear side so i went to a different place. Not only did they quote me HALF the price, they told me my breaks were perfectly fine and had over 90% left of my breaks still. This place is a complete scam, taking advantage of little automotive knowledge. When asked to see images they blame their “poor quality” shop phones and that’s why the image doesn’t really show the worn down brake pads. Don’t go here, there are more reliable and affordable places in Ames!!
