Watching him interact with other customers and seeing how passionate he was about his job was such a beautiful thing to witness! In a world filled with hostility and division, my experience working with him felt like reconnecting with an old friend. His professionalism, respect, genuineness and warmth made the entire visit enjoyable, and because of him, I’ve decided to bring my car here for all future repairs. I never used this shop befor , had a couple codes pop up for an evap leak on my 2015 hyundai elantra . They did a full inspection on the car . I ended up doing the brakes , ignition coils, spark plugs , purge valve and new fuel injectors in the driveway a week after I picked up my car . But these guys did a smoke test and seen that my charcole canister was busted , they grabbed me a new one and installed the next day. Its been 2 months , all the codes have stayed off and all the repairs they made have held up . I looked at the job they did when I got under the car to change the brakes , everything looked clean and professional where they replaced the canister. Bit pricey but labor isnt free and they sorced original hyundai parts. I've got no problem paying for quality. It was nice to

I went here for a brake inspection on my 2015 SRX Cadillac. They told me I needed the entire brake job all the way around which was a lie. Totally bill for $1500 where do they charge that at? Nowhere. Last they broke one of my brake pads having me to pay $350 just( rear brake pads) alone which they damaged. No, I did not allow them to service my car but did leave there paying $350 to replace the pad. I took my car somewhere else to have it done correct. BEWARE THIS PLACE HAVE CHANGED WITH THE YEAR OF 2026🙁☹️

I was referred to this Midas from a coworker & she told me how awesome the G.M. John is when it comes down to business. Let me tell you, my first time meeting this guy ever was today & he volunteered to make me coffee & MADE IT GREAT!!! Definitely beyond impressed with that. Also his mechanics did a great diagnostic with my vehicle, everything that came up wrong they told & showed John Then Told me & let me go in and showed me what was wrong under the hood. Great clean shop with great service.

The Midas at 18070 Halsted street is a rip off. I took my truck there on 10/28/25 10:52am (invoice #0112988) because my brakes was squeezing. The supervisor Alejandro Gutie charged me $1413.73 for brakes and rotors on all 4. And he had a tech short afro american guy with dreads do the work on my truck. 3 weeks later I took my truck back to Midas because my truck were still squeezing. The same 2 employees was there and told me that it will cost me an additional 548.00 for some more rotors. Straight BS I went to them to stop the squeezing 1413.73 later my tuck is still squeezing total rip off. Go at your own risk, maybe yall might have better luck than I did.
