I brought my vehicle in for a routine radiator replacement and coolant system service, and what I got was a nightmare. When I picked up my car, the hood latch was broken — something that should have been caught in a proper inspection. Worse, the coolant leaked out completely shortly after I left. I recently brought my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek here after seeing a P0400 code. I called and asked for a quote on an EGR valve, assuming the shop would confirm whether the part actually needed to be replaced before installing it. No one told me that they would replace the part without doing any diagnostic work first. I was charged nearly $800, including almost $500 for an EGR valve that typically retails much lower.
