I flew in from out of state and brought in a 1987 Porsche 911 for a pre-purchase inspection. Dan and his team were extremely thorough and knowledgeable about the car. They pointed out every issue they found and explained the possible causes of each. I heavily relied on this inspection when deciding to purchase the car. Anyone interested in classic car services should check this place out! It’s a very busy shop that’s clean, organized and services a wide variety of classic cars.

I couldn’t be happier with the work Midwest Classic Car Services did on our 1966 Chevy II Nova! This was my late father’s car and the last time it ran was in late 2021. The car had a transmission leak and it wouldn’t go in forward or reverse. I did an online search for classic car repair near me and Midwest Classic Car Services was one of a few choices. Their website looked good and they were just what I was looking for. I gave them a call & I talked to Dan, the owner. I had the car towed there to get it running again and fix the transmission issue. They did a tune up with all that was needed for that & rebuilt the carburetor. They also found that the transmission throttle cable was not attached and I needed a pan seal & there was a gouge in the tail shaft-so all that was replaced.

Took my car in for a transmission leak, brakes, and headlight replacement and all I can say is that they did an outstanding job repairing my car. They also found other minor issues with the they addressed and repaired. Dan communicated professionally throughout the whole process and explained everything in detail. I needed a professional appraisal of my 1960 Cadillac convertible for my insurance company.  When I arrived at Midwest Classic car Services I knew I was in the right place by the quality of the Classic & Collector Cars that were being worked on.  My Appraiser was obviously very experienced in evaluating classic cars.  He spent quite a bit of time examining my car from all angles.  He took numerous pictures.  I received his appraisal report via email the next day.  The report compared my car to multiple other vehicles of the same year/model that had sold recently.  My Insurance Company was very happy with his detailed report and my coverage amount was increased accordingly.
