Mike's Muffler Tire & Automotive Service

Went over there to pick up a vehicle for an insurance company. They had stolen the cat out of it and made me wait an hour while they chitchatted inside because it was their lunch. Incredibly inconsiderate and rude also, the old guy with the beard is barely intelligible. They should really have someone else running the front counter who can talk without rocks in their mouth.

At first he said I needed a valve job ( totally false ). Then he said I needed a flex pipe which was strange because I had it replaced a few months ago. Nonetheless I let him replace it . After spending $140 on a $30 flex pipe my car still has the same rattle underneath. He probably should stick to towing because exhaust work is not what they are good at. First time and most definitely my last time !!!

Tuesday my Grandson and I drove there and told them what we wanted. They told us to come back the next morning and they would have it done by lunch. Would call. 2 days later no call , no work done. We are just going to get our truck and go somewhere else.

Mike is simply exceptional. We broke down on the highway headed south and limped in to his shop in Roanoke Rapids. He diagnosed our vehicle and recommended options the next day without any consideration to his own profit. On our way home after thanksgiving in our rental car he came into the shop on his day off to help us clear out our car and arrange for towing. All this at no charge whatsoever. One in a million! Couldn't recommend Mike's more enthusiastically.

Mike and his crew went out of their way to help us! We called about 10 minutes before they were about to close and they let us come by to check out what was wrong. They fixed the problematic tire in less than 15 minutes, test drove the car to make sure it did the trick, and got us back on the road to head home. We are so grateful for their helpfulness and hospitality!!! HIGHLY recommend!!! Thank you so much!
