I’ve been going to this shop for a couple of years while attending NC State, and I would really recommend it for students. It’s easy to get through from the wolfline, so you can just drop your car off and go to class and pick it up when it’s ready. Their prices are reasonable and they’ve never tried to upsell me anything like other places will. Service times are also really fast, you don’t need an appointment and if they don’t think they can fit you in they’ll just tell you to come back tomorrow. One time my sister and I were about to drive two hours home and there was a hole in my tire. I got to the shop at almost their closing time and was freaking out and they just immediately fixed it on the spot and didn’t charge me for it. My daughters car broke down while she was in Raleigh. She got the car there Saturday afternoon and they took it right in. She was back on the road in around 2 hours. Excellent service and fair price. Saved me from a long distance tow bill.

Writing this review because I think it's important to recognize when you come across a business that is honest & high-integrity. I recently brought a car to Tommy and his team because it wouldn't start. They worked on it for nearly a week, trying various things including replacing the throttle body, and (eventually) realized the issue was very simple-- it was the key. We tried my spare key and it started right up. (Apparently a malfunctioning transponder in the key can prevent the car from starting, but the expected security light on the dashboard wasn't coming on.) Now here's the surprising part -- Tommy waived the vast majority of the charges, so my cost was a fraction of what it might have been. (He even offered to waive 100% of charges if I wanted him to.) The only place I go for my regular maintenance and inspections. These guys have top notch service, honest prices, and sparkling personalities. Always a pleasant experience and work I know I can trust.
