Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers

They mounted a tire for me that I already had. Charged me $45. Took them 10 minutes. Should have been $25 at most. Their prices are outrageous. They wanted $98 for a synthetic oil change and tried talking to me like it was a good deal. I can purchase the oil and filter for $25. $73 for labor on an oil change is outrageous also. I will keep changing my own oil.

Honestly, Not what i expected. The techs were nice to get me in after missing my original appointment, so i do appreciate that. But 700.00 for 2 tires and an alignment was outrageous. For 600.00 i could have went to discount tire and gotten all 4 replaced as well as the alignment. I’m not sure what they did to my car exactly because now my car shakes really bad when i get up to 60MPH like it’s going to fall apart. You’re definitely better off going to discount tire or somewhere else.. Now i am not happy with the job, out 700.00 and have a car that shakes aggressively when i drive.

I was told tires couldn't go on, that the rims were too big. I said they're the same tires that I have on the front. He told me the rims were bigger on the back and to use those tires I would need a rim that was narrower. I initially took his word for it and started shopping around at junkyards for rims. I decided to take it to another shop and sure enough, the tires went on no problem. Turns out, the rims on the front were the exact same size as the rears. So I was lied to or mislead. I was about to spend hundreds more dollars and have mismatched rims because of this. Terrible service. A simple no we can't do it would have sufficed. But being told rims are different sizes when in fact they were not is bad practice. Do better Monroe! I will not be returning there.

Worst experience ever, i dont reccomend Monroe to anyone and ill even go out of my way to make sure nobody i know ever goes to the Tiffin, OH store! Before i Scheduled front end alignment i replaced every suspension part on my front end except my rack n pinion so it should of been cake but noooooo, it took 4 days total and broke up into 3 seperate apointments and 2 sets of brand new front tires "out of my pocket" chewing up my tires in between because they never could get it aligned properly and couldnt seem to show me a print out of my alignment but i was told my tires would wear great after my 2nd apointment.. the list goes on with these tool bags mistakes after mistakes but ofcourse their counter top front desk guy keeps vomiting story after story to try and save face!!! Never again
