My Mechanic

I’ve been going a day for years never had this experience before, but I get my oil changed somewhere else because it came with my purchasing of the vehicle and I get my work done with Dave. They said that I had a transmission or a transfer case leak so I had took it to him and so he could look at it and give me his opinion and he said everything was fine that I needed brakes and rotors. He also said that he would waive the fee if I set up an appointment to get the brakes and rotors which cost me $750. I had this noise that was coming and going I had told him about it and i, but then it started to get worse so i took it back to him the second time and he said it was my wheel bearings of the tire as he drove it and gave me his opinion and I asked him if it was OK to drive and he said yes yo

no longer Highly recommended!!! When I first started working with Dave, he was very cordial and easy to get along with, with honesty and very fair prices. I thought I had found a diamond in the rough. However I recently had an appointment w him for a diagnostic. His attitude was horrible. It was a terrible interaction. he was plain rude and sarcastic. I even had trouble with him a couple days after the appointment when I was to pick up my car. He wanted to charge me 100 for a diagnostic in which he gave me no answers to my issue with the car. He wanted to replace parts that were already replaced recently, and charge me 500. he had waived the diagnostic fee in previous appointments. Dave at My Mechanic is fantastic and really trustworthy! I brought my car in after I ran over something in the road and could see something hanging down and scraping on the road afterwards. If Dave had been shady he could have charged me several hundreds or even over a thousand dollars because I thought I had really messed up the undercarriage of the car. Lucky me, Dave is the complete opposite of shady and told me it was a small piece of plastic that got gouged and fixed it for next to nothing!!! Dave's honesty, integrity, and great service has convinced me that he really is My Mechanic now :)

Needed to have my brakes checked on my 2012 Sonata and it was going g to be weeks for the dealership so I called my Mechanic because they’re down the street from where I worked. Dave was very friendly and got me I the next day. I dropped off my car and within a few hours, he called me back with the diagnosis and cost for service and said it could be completed that day. The price was very reasonable and seemed to match my suspicions so I said to do it. Very pleased with the service and my car now stops on a dime. Everything was put back in place and ready for me to drive away. A couple of things… he’s cash or check only. No cards and I respect that. It’s beneficial to the customer as well as Dave. I was referred to Dave from a friend who recommended him. I'm glad he did! I have an 97 Ford Explorer that fortunately has not required a lot of serious work. Dave is a very honest, respectable mechanic. I don't know much about cars, and could be taken advantage of, but I don't worry about that with Dave. All the work he has done for me has been at a lower price than quoted by other mechanics and dealerships. I have no complaints, and would definitely recommend Dave to anyone of my friends.
