I'm new to the area. I found Richard to be very nice man who went out of his way to help me. Reese valley price. And that's enough to come pick me up with my vehicle where I didn't have to get a taxi to get to him. I will go back again if I ever need him and refer people to him. Great experience.

Predatory Unfortunately, I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with the owner, Richard. I originally brought him my Audi after getting water in the fuel tank. A week later, the fuel was drained and replaced — but the car still wasn’t running. (Maybe because the fuel filter still hadn’t been replaced.) We agreed that further diagnostics were needed, and I was clear that I needed to be notified once the bill crossed $500. Pretty simple, especially considering he couldn’t even give me a ballpark diagnostic fee. Instead, I got the runaround for three weeks. Then out of nowhere he tells me the car is “done” and I owe almost $3,000. When I pushed back, he said he’d “rather have me mad about a surprise bill and a running vehicle than a $500 bill and a broken one.” He even told me, “If you don’t

This is the second time we have been to this shop. First time they fixed an overheating problem and this time they were kind enough to help figure out some power steering problems we had. We have an older truck so anytime we have problems from here on out we will be coming here! Owner is super kind and friendly.

Honest auto mechanic shops are hard to come by these days. Richard, the owner, at Danny Clark's Garage is just that. Personable, responsive, timely, knowledgable, and I don't get that "did i just get squeezed?" feeling that you get after you leave a lot of the big box service shops. My older vehicle has been in twice now, the first time he actually rode around with me to diagnose and explain the problem. Then when he called me with my estimate, he explained why I DIDN'T need the most expensive options. Second time was just an oil change and a "will it make it on a long trip" assessment. The vehicle is old enough that any mechanic could have searched until they found something to upcharge me on. I got out with an appropriately priced oil change, an air filter, and travel confidence.
