NAPA Auto Parts - Southern Indiana Parts

Just spent a few minutes on the phone with Melcher, who works at this NAPA store. He did an incredible job and helping me try to find a part while I’m at the hospital out of town. He was very gracious. You can tell that he is honest and genuine. With strongly recommend doing business with this company.

On Friday 4/25 my car broke down at the light right next to the NAPA parking lot and with the help of a very nice employee I pushed the car into the lot and was asked by a manager to move it to a specific spot which I did with the help of 3 more very friendly employees. One staff member allowed be to use his personal OBD SCANNER which didn't show any codes to work with so the staff and I brain stormed to terrible shoot the issue. We came up with a couple things it could be while they charged and tested my battery. I bought the parts but had to leave to finish my work for the weekend before working on my car. I was told by staff that my car would be fine for the weekend and not to worry about it. Sunday evening while I was working on the car the store manager drove through and told me I nee

Out of necessity and lack of options, I've been shopping at this store since I moved to Bloomington (2004). Today that ends. No more. The employees are almost always in a bad mood and look unhappy and they pass that along. The manager (same guy as always) can be passive aggressive while sporting a big fake grin. I'm guessing that has something to do with employee attitudes. Not one more cent of mine will go to this NAPA. I will drive, Uber, fly to another one. DONE with Bloomington NAPA.

If you want a warranty don't lose your receipt. This place doesn't keep track of any of your purchases digitally like their competitors. I have lifetime warranties on my rotors and pads and they won't honor it. Never buying parts here again. Edit: I called per the reply below and they provided no additional help. Their ancient system doesn't even save online orders information so if you don't keep a piece of paper for your lifetime warranty. Good luck.

This store has lost my family’s business forever. The employee Melissa was extremely rude and cussed at my husband. She could not hide her racism, and the manager was of no assistance with her unmerited behavior. Make sure you keep your receipt if you might need to return a part.
